Website Monitoring Integrations
Site Detection connects to the tools your team already uses, so a website going down shows up in the right place. Send downtime alerts by email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and webhooks — with a REST API when you need a custom integration. Alerts fire when downtime is detected and confirmed with multiple checks, and you get a recovery notification when the site comes back.
Email built in • Chat + SMS + webhook alerts • Multiple channels per monitor
Connect Site Detection to Your Tools
Pick the channels that fit how your team works. Add them once under Alerts, assign them to any monitor, and Site Detection delivers a downtime alert — then a recovery notification — through each one.
Every account gets email downtime and recovery alerts out of the box — no setup required. Add the addresses that should be notified.
SMS
Get a text when downtime is detected, for the outages you can't afford to miss.
SMS alerts → ChatSlack
Post downtime and recovery alerts straight into a Slack channel using an incoming webhook.
Slack integration → ChatMicrosoft Teams
Send alerts into a Teams channel with a Workflows or incoming-webhook connection.
Teams integration → ChatGoogle Chat
Deliver alerts to a Google Chat space through an incoming webhook.
Google Chat integration → DeveloperWebhooks
Send a JSON payload to your own endpoint on downtime and recovery, and wire alerts into anything.
Webhook integration →Build Your Own with the REST API
Need something beyond the built-in channels? Site Detection has a REST API you can use to read monitors and incidents and drive custom integrations — dashboards, ticketing, or internal tooling.
REST API
Programmatic access to your monitors and incident history. See the uptime monitoring API overview for what's possible.
API reference
Endpoints, authentication, and payloads are documented in the API docs so your developers can get started quickly.
How Channels Work
Every integration follows the same simple model, so adding a new channel is quick and predictable.
Per-channel On / Off
Each channel has its own switch. Turn a channel on or off at any time without deleting it or losing its settings.
Test buttons
Every channel has a test button. Send a sample alert to confirm messages arrive in the right place before a real outage.
Multiple channels per monitor
Assign several channels to one monitor. A single site can alert email, a chat channel, and a webhook all at once.

Start Monitoring Your WebsiteFrequently Asked Questions
What integrations does Site Detection support?
Site Detection sends downtime and recovery alerts through email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and webhooks. Email is built in on every account, and each of the other channels can be added and configured per monitor. There is also a REST API for building your own custom integrations.
Can I get alerts in Slack, Teams, or Google Chat?
Yes. You can connect Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Chat by creating an incoming webhook in that tool, then adding the channel in Site Detection under Alerts and pasting the webhook URL. When downtime is detected, the alert is posted into the channel you chose, and you receive a recovery notification when the site comes back.
Can I send alerts to my own systems?
Yes. Add a webhook channel and Site Detection will POST a JSON payload to your endpoint when downtime is detected and again on recovery. You can also use the REST API to read monitors and incidents and build fully custom integrations.
Can I use more than one alert channel?
Yes. Each monitor can use multiple channels at once, so a single site can alert email, Slack, and a webhook together. Every channel has its own On/Off switch and a test button, so you can turn channels on or off and confirm delivery without waiting for a real outage.
